Often, Brokenrope is asked to track a person's ancestry. This is a service we can offer, but we need a few bits of information. To obtain the best results we need the following:
1. Your legal birth name or a copy of your birth certificate. 2. Your parents names or as much information as you have regarding your parents/grandparents. 3. If you are looking for tribal affiliation, we need to know who was the last person registered with a CDIB (Certificate of Degree of Indian Blood).
Of course, we will take as much (or as little) information as you have available regarding your ancestry.
The fee depends upon the amount of information you know at present. Each case is different, and we need to talk to decide how much information you want to access, if we have to get original birth or death certificates, and how much "leg work" you are willing to complete!
